The obvious, big, and unavoidable question. Let’s break it down together.

In the United States the closest thing to a socialized healthcare system is the Veterans' Administration, where doctors, nurses, and the rest of the staff are employees of the government,  and the buildings are owned and maintained by the government.  The single payer healthcare system in England is based on this model. 

The Single Payer/Improved Medicare 4AllPA that we at Healthcare4AllPA are working toward is not a socialized healthcare system.  The healthcare professionals would not be employees of the government,  nor would the buildings be owned by the government.  Everyone, finally, would have the freedom to choose the healthcare professionals and facilities that best suits their needs.
